  • Approve 9.12.11 minutes
  • Follow up on Public records request complaint (Town Clerk’s office); complainant has emailed another complaint (9/6); W. Burkhart took documents on 9/12 to speak to L. Thorpe about
  • Follow up on misc bylaws approved at 2011, 2010 & 2009 town meetings not received in AG’s office; discuss how to handle; W. Burkhart took documents on 9/12 to speak to L. Thorpe about
  • Administrative items, write correspondence, review mail, review weekly employee reports, etc.
  • Beach property (schedule executive session with Town Counsel)
  • Review and amend Personnel Policy/Employee Handbook; Select Board has copy to review and approve if acceptable
  • Follow up on Verizon pole request cable in the trees coming from Otis; discuss Maynard’s comments from the 8/15 meeting (job #1AABL6)
  • Review updated health and benefits comparison; Board asked M. Noe to provide numbers to review on health and dental

    *Historical Commission,  1 seat – 3 year term
    *Planning Board – 1 seat
    *Council on Aging – 3 seats – 3 year term (per our bylaws this is a 5 member board and members a limited to no more than four years)

Town Bylaw sections to review/update/create:
    1.  Town Report Section – update
    2.  Amendments
    3.  Revise alarm bylaws; Chief Backhaus will supply the Board with a draft proposal, Board would like  Shawn Tryon, Fire Chief to review as well and submit suggestions

Schedule & host an emergency management meeting.

Bringing back “I Love Monterey Day”

Items/Articles for next town meeting warrant:
*Installing central a/c in town offices
*Remodel basement
*Amend COA bylaw

Waiting on a response from WMH Committee re: schedule of their plans for the municipal use of the Wilson McLaughlin House with the stages of construction as well as a timetable of their fundraising goals (7/18)
7.
Joint pole hearing WR# 9219890 (hearing was in February 2011); waiting on revisions from National Grid
